Gourmondo Café Omeros

BioMed Realty brought on a new café vendor, Gourmondo, who wanted the space to reflect their identity and feel more comfortable and fun for the building's mix of lab and office tenants. Working closely with Gourmondo to understand what they wanted, Emily divided the café into lounge, work, café, and play zones, giving the space variety rather than a single generic format. The design included playful nods to the building's scientific tenants, including atom-shaped light fixtures and textured wallpaper.

Completed while at a previous firm, Emily served as studio lead and project manager, guiding a junior designer.
