Prioritizing pets

Every SouthPark Animal Clinic design and construction meetings was attended by a service dog in training, indicative of the thoughtfulness and caring persona of the veterinarian opening the clinic. Their focus of making space comfortable for both the animals and their owners, especially those owners that were not leaving with their pets, was of the utmost importance. The finish palette was created with this in mind, focusing on warm tones and soft textures and patterns.

Additionally, the clinic provided significant surgery services that the vet wanted to make sure was specific to his needs and techniques. Amanda worked closely with the vet to design and detail a custom surgery table that met those needs.

The scope of this project included both the ground up architecture and interior design which Amanda completed at a previous firm, serving as the project manager and designer from schematic design through construction documents. The ground up scope adhered to a neighborhood standard and she was responsible for all detailing and documentation. The interior design was custom to the project and she was responsible for all design and documentation.
